This project was a challenge to myself to see what I could achieve with RPG Maker, an engine typically used for JRPGs. Initially, I was just experimenting with the engine’s capabilities, but it quickly turned into a full-fledged project that’s now available to play in your browser. 🎮

By sharing *Battle City* made in RPG maker, I hope it serves as a learning tool for beginners who can speed up their process remarkably by reading through pre-made event scripts. 

And for the more advanced devs out there, I think you'll enjoy seeing how fun and exciting it is to stretch this engine's potential. 🚀

   KEY FEATURES   

• Introducing the NEW Bullet System: Shoot your enemy and get hits! Make the player shoot with a key press, and the enemy every 1-2 seconds. The bullet dissapears once it touches the edges of the screen, perfect for one-screen games!
• Create Levels in Your Game: Learn how to make levels in RPG Maker! This demo will include five levels, but you can extend to any amount you can think of.
  
• Smart collisions and Hit Animations: How to set up squares that you can shoot over (water), pass under (bush), are undamageable by bullets (stone), and breakable by bullets (brick).
• Customised User Interface: Find out how to create your own Title, Splash and Game Over screens.
