Lost RPG Maker History, Now in English!
I love digging into the history of game development, and when I got my hands on the original Japanese manuals for Dante98, Dante98 II, and RPG Maker 95, I couldn’t stop reading. These guides shaped how people built their games decades ago, yet they remained locked behind a language barrier—until now.
Since these were only available in Japanese, I decided to translate them. For now, I’ve used Google Translate, so while the wording might be a little funny at times, the core information is finally accessible! It took a while, translating page by page, but now they’re fully in English and available for free.
If you love old-school RPG creation or want to see how developers back in the day made their games, these manuals are packed with lost knowledge and cool insights!
